In my work - figure or landscape, painting or sculpture - I look for two forces: Light and Rhythm.
I want light to brighten every stroke and rhythm to move the clay and shape the forms.
The subject itself is the teacher, but not the result; the origin, but not the conclusion.
All things germinate from Light and Rhythm and the more I work the more I abandon myself to them.
